What is whiplash?
Whiplash usually occurs when you experience a sudden, intense jarring of the neck. Dr. Dillow uses electrical stimulation and cold laser therapy to treat the pain associated with whiplash and other soft tissue pain so you can return to full function. Cold laser therapy applies low levels of red and infrared light directly to the injured area. The light penetrates several layers of the skin to stimulate healing properties in affected cells.
How are herniated discs treated?
Dr. Dillow uses spinal decompression therapy to alleviate the painful symptoms of disc herniation. Spinal decompression involves separating the discs to create a supportive vacuum cushion using non-surgical traction. You lie down wearing a localized, fitted support system as the machine gradually applies distraction -- or pull. Most people describe it as comfortable.
